A statewide EMS membership association needed to respond to proposed legislation that would have altered the scope of practice framework for advanced practice paramedics in ways the membership viewed as technically unsound. Principia Logos analyzed the bill, developed a technical brief written for legislative staff rather than clinical audiences, and prepared written and oral testimony for committee consideration. The association's position was incorporated into amendment language before the bill passed out of committee.
